le must river collection is situated in upington, heart of the green kalahari, northern cape, south africa. the guest houses were established in 1985 by niel stemmet. the two river front properties were converted from family homes into guest houses. in these houses guests are offered real, warm and honest northern cape service.
the houses are within easy walking distance of the central business district of upington, the gateway to the great kalahari desert, making them an ideal stop over place for both business and leisure travelers.
upington is situated 800 km from both johannesburg and cape town, and is only a 200km detour on the johannesburg / cape town route via calvinia, which compares favorably to the N1 national road between those two cities.
